Mannagetta-Auswahl

The selection process takes about four months.

The fellowships are awarded by a selection committee whose members are nominated by the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The decision on the fellowships is made on the basis of a comparative assessment of the applications by the committee members. The final decision on awarding the fellowships is made by the Mannagetta Foundation Board of Trustees.

Evaluation criteria

Applicant’s academic qualification

• Course and length of studies
• Quality and number of publications (peer review)
• (international) mobility
• Grants, awards, etc.

Project

• Originality, innovative aspects and scientific relevance
• Presentation of research questions/hypotheses and methodology
• Scientific environment, qualification of supervisor(s)

Information to applicants

The applicants will be informed of the decision in writing after the meeting of the Mannagetta Foundation Board of Trustees.
