The steps involved in applying for a JESH scholarship are as follows:

Application language
Applications must be written in English.
Subsequent amendments
After the submission deadline, it is not possible to make changes to applications that have already been submitted or to submit missing documents.
Only applications which fulfil the formal criteria will be considered for assessment.
Resubmission
In the event of an unsuccessful application, it is possible to resubmit a reworked proposal at earliest within the next JESH call as long as the conditions of application are fulfilled.
Applications submitted a second time must be clearly indicated as such. A cover letter accompanying a second submission must outline the progress that has been made since the first submission.

The completed documents must be uploaded using the online form. The applicants will then receive a document that needs to be signed, scanned and submitted by email.

Processing
Upon receipt, applications will be checked to ensure that they comply with the formal criteria. Applicants will receive an email confirmation once this check is complete.
