Young researcher award in GIScience

The Young Researcher Award in GIScience was given to young scientists in the fields of Geoinformatics or Geographic Information Science at an early stage of their careers to provide public recognition for outstanding achievements.

The prize was given to scientists under 35 for publications that have advanced the development of the fields of Geoinformatics or Geographic Information Science.

The Commission for Geographic Information Science was closed on July 31, 2023.
