Target Group

Young, highly qualified scientists in the dissertation stage are invited to apply.

Application Requirements

• Completed studies of technical or computer sciences (incl. business informatics) and current PhD/doctoral studies, whereby the start of the PhD/doctoral studies may not be more than four years ago.
• for applicants with Austrian citizenship: PhD/doctoral studies at a university in the DACH region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland)
• for applicants with other citizenship: PhD/doctoral studies at a university in Austria
• At least three scientific publications (peer-reviewed paper in a workshop proceedings / conference proceedings / journal) published as first author, the quality of which together with an exposé of the research work will be used to evaluate the application.

Exceptions

Up to three years will be recognized upon proof of (child) care responsibilities; further exceptions will be made for disability or (chronic) illness.

Exceptions must be clarified by consulting the Office for Fellowships & Awards before submitting an application.
